Mission Statement of Waterpark College Parents' Council.

  1. The main function of Waterpark College Parents' Council is to provide a home/school link, providing co-operation and understanding between both.
  2. We are an elected body, our members being elected by parents and guardians of children attending Waterpark College.
  3. The Council is run by its elected officers rather than by school authorities.
  4. The Parents' Council does not interfere in any way in the day-to-day running of the school.
  5. Our Parents' Council plays a valuable role in the link between Board of management and Parents in the school.
  6. Our Parents' Council is the basic unit which can give a National and European voice to the views of the parents of Waterpark.
